I’m growing Agusta Blue Skies nierembergia by Proven Winners this year and love it. It needs to be kept moist until it is established and then can be kept on the dry side. It’s a low growing plant and looks good in pots, borders, and rock gardens. The above picture was taken in my garden.
This plant has bloomed non stop and really takes the heat. This plant is also called Cupflower.
I have my Agusta Blue Skies nieremberia paired with this Pink Parfait verbena also by Proven Winners. They will both be available Spring of 2010.

Nierembergia is a new plant for me! I’ll be doing a little more research on this one. It’s beautiful!–Randy
Isn’t it—you’ll love it.
That is a beautiful combination of colours: perfect.
Hope you are feeling better, my Flower Garden Girl
Thank you and I am feeling well today. I need to get the house cleaned for next week’s 4th of July festivities.
Lovely colour and works really well in your combination.
Thank you, I’m a sucker for pinks and purples together.
I grew it for 2 years (Purple Robe) and it overwintered. It is deer resistant!

I like Purple Robe too. Very glad to know it came back cause wasn’t sure for this zone as it’s iffy you know.
You and the deer resistant issues
I love that little plant too!
It’s dainty and works hard even though it seems fragile. I love plants like that.
What a lovely combination here.
I knew you would like it!
